Once upon a time, our world was not a hustling and busy place on Sundays.  Sundays were a day of rest, a day unlike any other.  Stores were required to be closed.  Families came together after a long week, shared a meal together, and made connections with one another.  It was a tradition that many followed:  dress in your best clothes, go to church as a family, return to someone's house for a meal (a really good meal cooked by mom!), and enjoying the afternoon relaxing and sharing.  It's a homesteading tradition that has been practiced for years by those who love simple living, and honor that day of rest.  So where did it go?

I'm pretty frugal.  That might even be an understatement...I'm VERY frugal.  Those who know me well know that I am all about getting a great deal, waiting until something goes on sale, and salvaging what I can to save a dime.  Why?  Because my time is important to me.  The time I spend away from my family better be for a good reason.  If I'm going to work, I need that money to be used as wisely as possible because that was money earned by being away from my children.
